![]() The fastest and easiest way to look up that info is by using a free program by the company Piriform. You can now find your CPU, RAM, Motherboard, Video card, Hard drive, Optical drive and Sound card info within seconds. You would probably forget your computer specs within a matter of months, if you knew your full system specs at all. I could imagine if you purchased the computer at a store or had someone else build it for you. Sometimes I had to remove memory chips, sound, video and other circuit boards just to find the specific information I wanted. It is hard to read specific card, RAM or motherboard model numbers when they are in the case. Years ago when I would build a computer and I was unaware of any software around to grab the system info for me I would need to open up the computer case to look up the information. ![]() ![]() After 8 months to a year of owning a new computer I tend to forget my system specs… and I custom build the freakin’ things. ![]()
